ABOUT US

約200万年前に私たちの祖先が初めて使ったとされる道具「石斧」。
道具は永い歴史を経て現在では星の数ほどの種類に増え、相応の目的の数の分だけ存在しています。

私たちは３つの「道具」を使ってインテリア、家具、雑貨をデザインしています。

    ものの本質を確認する

    他のもの、人との関係を測る

    遊び心やユーモアをもって考えと形を結びつける

目で見て、触れて、使うたびに少し楽しくなるような、
心になにかをはたらきかける道具作りに取り組んでいます。

Our ancestors used “Stone axes” as the first tool about two million years ago. And now huge kinds of tools exists as many stars as there are.
We use three “tools” -Japanese say “Dougus (Doogs)”- to design interiors, furniture, and goods.

  • Look at the essence of things
  • Measure the relationship between itself and other things or people
  • Connect ideas and forms with playfulness and humor
 We are creating “Doogs” – that will affect someone’s heart and make someone a little more fun with seeing it, touching it, and using it.

中島 保久 / Yasuhisa Nakajima
代表、デザイナー / Representative, Designer
2002年　埼玉県立飯能高等技術専門校にて木工技術を学び家具工房に勤務。
2006年　ICSカレッジオブアーツ　インテリアⅡ部卒業後、セキデザインスタジオ勤務
2012年　DOOGS DESIGN　設立

中島 麻友子 / Mayuko Nakajima
コーディネーター、デザイナー / Coordinator, Designer
ICSカレッジオブアーツ　インテリアⅡ部卒業後
インテリアデザイン事務所、家具メーカー勤務を経て、DOOGS DESIGNにて活動中。

2012 エステーデザインアワード 入賞、2013 富山プロダクトデザインコンペ 入賞、2013 木のデザイン公募展 大賞
